Are you interested in expanding your skills as an educator but are worried about this course being cost-prohibitive? Consider applying for our Merlin Day Musselman Memorial Scholarship, founded especially to defray expenses for teachers seeking Levels training.

Releasing creativity that extends far beyond the music classroom, Carl Orff and Gunild Keetman conceived an approach to building musicianship in every learner through the integration of music, movement, speech, and drama. While this course is specifically geared towards music teachers serving early to middle childhood classroom music, the Orff-Schulwerk process is limitless in its applications beyond the Music Room. Administrators, classroom teachers, early-chilhood professionals, and anyone else looking to deepen their skillset of unlocking creative potential are welcome to join. While a background in music is helpful, it is not required or necessary to benefit from the course.

Columbia Valley Elementary is a part of our host organization, Evergreen Public Schools, and is located just northeast of Portland in a beautiful tech center in east Vancouver. It is adjacent to a park with walking paths, is close to a myriad of restaurants and hotels, and has a wonderful music room, lots of free parking, and is an easy reverse commute from Portland.
